Are you a dessert aficionado with a passion for all things sweet? Do you have a knack for crafting captivating content and love engaging with others on social media? If so, we've got the perfect opportunity for you!
We are a dynamic dessert blog looking for a talented Content and Marketing Assistant to join our team and play a crucial role in spreading the joy of desserts far and wide and helping home bakers to build their skills and confidence in the kitchen.
Details:
- Part-time - 16 hours per week with the opportunity to grow to full-time.
- Hybrid remote - Flexible arrangement between of work from our Glasgow office and working from home.
- Competitive pay - £14 per hour plus company events and perks.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and schedule social media posts
- Format blog posts to prepare them for publishing
- Write first drafts for blog posts and newsletters
- Create Pinterest pins and optimize content for Pinterest SEO
- Assist with social media engagement and community management
- Basic video editing for reels
- Assist with updating and improving old content
- Help research trends, keywords, and content opportunities
- Perform basic admin tasks related to content creation and marketing
- Some basic website maintenance tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent writing skills and a keen eye for detail
- Experience in managing social media channels
- Familiarity with SEO and marketing trends
- Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools
- A self-starter who’s organized and proactive
- Brownie points for an interest in baking/desserts.
Skills/Experience
