French Vanilla Cake

Perfect, fluffy, soft, and flavorful French Vanilla Cake - every baker needs a great vanilla recipe!

You'll Need: Milk Oil Flour Sugar Eggs Butter Vanilla

Step 1: Put the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into the bowl of a mixer.

Step 2: Add the butter in chunks, mixing in between until it looks like breadcrumbs. .

Step 3: Add the oil and half the milk and beat for 2 minutes.

Step 4:  Add remaining milk, eggs and vanilla and beat until combined.

Step 5: Pour into two 8-inch cake pans and bake at 335°F for 30-40 mins or until a skewer comes out clean.

Step 6:  Fill and decorate with your favorite buttercream (I used Russian buttercream).
