Chai Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Warm, spiced chai cake with brown butter cream cheese frosting. The perfect fall dessert.

You'll Need: Milk Chai Tea Butter White Sugar Brown Sugar Eggs Flour Sour Cream Oil Vanilla Cardamom Cinnamon Ginger Nutmeg Salt + Pepper Cream Cheese Powdered Sugar

Step 1: Steep the chai tea in the milk until simmering, let cool.

Step 2: Beat together the butter and both sugars.

Step 3: Add eggs and wet ingredients (except milk)

Step 4:  Sift all the dry ingredients together.

Step 5: Alternate adding the dry ingredients and steeped milk until it's all incorporated.

Step 6:  Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.

Step 7:  Make brown butter and mix with cream cheese and powdered sugar to make frosting.

Step 7:  Fill and decorate the cake with the frosting.
