You'll Need: Butter Sugar Eggs Flour Lemons Baking Powder Powdered Sugar

Step 1: Zest the lemons, then juice them into a separate bowl and set aside.

Step 2: Cream the butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy. Then beat in the eggs 1 at a time.

Step 3: Sift in the dry ingredients and mix gently, then fold in the lemon zest.

Step 4: Pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake at 350°F for 45-55 mins.

Step 5:  Poke holes all over the cake with a skewer.
