Strawberry Coulis

Easy strawberry puree (strawberry coulis) to use in your baking and desserts.

You'll Need: Strawberries Sugar

Step 1: Put the strawberries and sugar in a saucepan on medium heat.

Step 2: Heat and stir until the strawberries start to break down.

Step 3: Boil for 15 mins until thickened and gelatinous.

Step 4:  Cool for 15 mins then blend in a food processor until smooth.

Step 5: Pass through a fine mesh sieve to remove any excess fiber or seeds.

Step 6:  Use in cake batter, frostings or as a filling for your desserts.
