Heart Cookies

Buttery heart shaped cookies that don't spread in the oven - only 3 ingredients!

You'll Need: Sugar Butter Flour

Step 1: Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Step 2:  Add the flour and mix until it gets clumpy.

Step 3: Shape into a ball and knead until smooth (30 seconds)

Step 4:  Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thick and cut out heart shapes.

Step 5:  Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes (this helps them keep their shape in the oven).

Step 6:  Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.

Step 7:  Enjoy plain or decorate with icing. (Simple icing and royal icing recpes in the post)
