You'll Need: Eggs Milk Sugar Butter Flour Powdered Sugar Vanilla Cocoa Powder Dark Chocolate

Step 1: Make base by mixing all base ingredients together and working into a dough. Roll out flat and bake for 10 mins.

Step 2: Use your tart ring to cut out a perfect circle. Leave base in there.

Step 3: Heat milk, vanilla and sugar and slowly add to egg yolks to make the custard.

Step 4: The custard is ready when you can coat the back of a spoon and draw a line through it.

Step 5:  Add chocolate to custard and mix until combined. Pour into tart ring.

Step 6:  Bake at 350°F for an hour. It should still be. jiggly when it's done.

Step 7:  To decorate brush with some warm jam and add some chocolate flakes.
