French Buttercream

Rich and creamy buttercream with a luxurious, silky smooth texture.

You'll Need: Egg Yolks Sugar Butter Vanilla

Step 1: Whip the egg yolks on high speed for 5 minutes.

Step 2: Heat the water and sugar in a saucepan until they reach 240°F.

Step 3: Slowly pour the hot sugar syrup into the egg yolks in a steady stream. Keep whipping on low.

Step 4: Whip on high speed until the mixture comes back down to room temperature.

Step 5:  Add the butter, one small chunk at a time, whipping in between.

Step 6:  Add vanilla or other flavors and whip on high for 1 minute.
