Frangipane is a delicious, French almond cream filling for pastries and tarts.

You'll Need: Almond Meal Sugar Butter Eggs Vanilla Almond Extract Flour

Step 1: Cream the butter and sugar, then add the extracts and beat in the eggs one at a time.

Step 2: Mix in the flour and almond meal until it forms a thick paste (frangipane).

Step 3:  Pipe or spread the frangipane into a tart case or pie crust...

Or spread into pastries. (make French Almond Croissants with frangipane and leftover pastries!)
