You'll Need: Eggs Sugar Milk Vanilla Cornstarch

Step 1: Whip the egg whites and sugar together to stiff peaks.

Step 2: Heat the milk and vanilla in a pan.

Step 3:  Poach meringues in milk for 2 minutes on each side.

Step 4:  Sift milk and put into a clean saucepan, heat until warm.

Step 5:  Whisk egg yolks and sugar together, then add the milk slowly and cook until thick.

Step 6: Serve and decorate with caramel.
