Shortbread Cookies 

Soft, buttery, Scottish shortbread cookies with chocolate chips.

You'll Need: Flour Butter Sugar Baking Powder Salt Chocolate Chips

Step 1: Beat the butter and sugar until it's light and fluffy.

Step 2:  Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined.

Step 3:  Gently knead the chocolate chunks into the dough until evenly dispersed (optional).

Step 4:  Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.

Step 5:  Bake at 350°F for 10 - 15 minutes. They should still be fairly pale.

Step 6:  Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle generously with sugar.
