Earl Grey Scones


These Earl Grey scones are fluffy, thick, and absolutely jam-packed with Earl Grey flavor! Perfect for tea lovers.


You'll Need: Butter Flour Sugar Whipping Cream Earl Grey Tea Egg Vanilla Icing Sugar

Step 1: Heat cream and teabags over medium-low heat until scalding. Let cool with teabags still in.

Step 2: Sift together dry ingredients and add the butter in cubes.


Step 3: Rub butter into the flour with hands until it looks like breadcrumbs.

Step 4:  Add steeped cream, eggs and vanilla and  knead into a dough. Form a circle and cut into wedges.

Step 5:  Place on a baking sheet and brush with eggwash. Bake at 375°F for 20 mins.

Step 6:  Mix glaze ingredients together and dip scones once cooled.
