German Chocolate Cupcakes

Rich chocolate cupcakes with sweet coconut pecan frosting. 

Ingredients

+ chocolate cake ingredients

Sift the dry ingredients into a large bowl and mix together.

Step 1

Mix the wet ingredients together and add to the dry. Whisk until combined.

Step 2

Bake and then core out the middle and fill with chocolate ganache.

Step 3

Mix the egg yolks, evaporated milk, butter, brown sugar, salt, and vanilla in a pan until boiling.

Step 4

Boil for 30 seconds, then add in the coconut and toasted pecans. Mix.

Step 5

Let the German chocolate frosting cool, then scoop on top of the cupcakes.
