Brown Butter Pecan Cookies

Thick and chewy brown butter cookies, packed with toasted pecans.

You'll Need: Butter White Sugar Light Brown Sugar Vanilla Egg Flour Baking Soda Salt Pecans

Step 1: Heat the butter in a saucepan until it turns brown and has a nutty aroma

Step 2: Toast the pecans in a dry pan until they also smell nutty.

Step 3: Whisk together the browned butter and both sugars.

Step 4:  Add egg and vanilla and whisk vigorously for 1 minute.

Step 5: Add flour, salt and baking soda and whisk.

Step 6: Chop pecans and mix them into the dough.

Step 7: Scoop cookie dough into balls and then press them flat on baking sheet.

Step 8: Bake at 335°F for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
