You'll Need: Leftover croissants Almond Flour Flour Eggs Sugar Butter Vanilla Almond Extract Amaretto (optional) Powdered Sugar

Step 1: Mix together the ingredients to make the almond cream (frangipane).

Step 2: Make the syrup by heating the sugar, water, and amaretto in a pan until the sugar has dissolved.

Step 3: Slice the leftover croissants in half and lay them open.

Step 4:  Brush the croissants generously with the simple syrup.

Step 5:  Fill each croissant with an even layer of frangipane.

Step 6:  Brush the tops of the croissants with more syrup and sprinkle with flaked almonds.

Step 6:  Bake for 12 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar and enjoy.
