Scottish Shortbread

The most crumbly, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth traditional Scottish shortbread recipe - brought to you by a real Scot!

You'll Need: Sugar Butter Flour

Step 1: Mix together the sugar and softened butter.

Step 2: Add the flour and mix until clumps of dough form.

Step 3: Work the mixture with your hands until a dough forms. Place inside a lined pan.

Step 4: Press down to form an even layer. Prick with a fork all over.

Step 5:  Bake at 320°F for 25-35 mins, or until the edges start to turn golden brown.

Step 6:  Cool for 1 hour and then slice into fingers while still warm.
