I LOVE charcuterie boards. I get bored easily so I love being able to graze on multiple different things at once, depending on what I'm feeling like in that moment. Valentines Day seemed like the perfect opportunity to make a cute Valentines Charcuterie Board, so I got to it!

What's on my Valentines Charcuterie Board?
I basically just took all my favourite things and made them 'love' themed! Here's a list of everything on my board:
- Candied Bacon Roses
- Heart Shaped Sugar Cookies
- Homemade crackers
- Raspberry Macarons
- Brie
- Cheddar
- Parmesan
- Chorizo
- Salami
- Prosciutto
- Toasted, Candied Pecans
- Popcorn
- Chocolate Covered Strawberries
- Biscuit Truffles
- Raspberries
- Homemade Chocolates
- Hershey's Kisses
- Chocolate Covered Pretzels
I cut everything I could into heart shapes and decorated everything else with some kind of pink/red/hearts to bring it all together. Personally I think I may have gone overboard with the choices here, putting way too many different things on the one board, but we ate it all and it was delicious so I really can't complain!
How to make your own Valentines Charcuterie Board
There is really nothing complicated about putting this together, it just requires a little bit of forward planning. Decide which foods you love the most and want to incorporate into your Valentines Charcuterie Board, then make a list. Anything that can be easily sliced, just use a cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes. Then easily bring the rest together with some melted white chocolate and heart sprinkles!
Decide the best order to prepare things in and figure out what can be made ahead of time. For example, I made the crackers and chocolates the night before, then the things like the chocolate dipped pretzels and popcorn a few hours before. The last thing I did were the meats and cheeses as I waned them to stay looking fresh.
When laying out your board, start with the largest items first, position them on the board and then build up everything else around them. Try not to have any similar items touching each other - e.g. two kinds of cheese, or two things that are a similar colour. Try to cover the entire board in delicious snacks. If you have any gaps at the end, fill them in with nuts, fruit or sprinkles
